I had a consultation 4 years ago on a Friday, thinking I was going to court. By Monday or Tuesday the following week, everything was cancelled and no case ever transpired, no work was done. I had paid a $2,500 retainer fee, and was told by my attorney, I would not be reimbursed any of it. It's been 4 years and I'm just finding out now I should've been repaid. Make sure you ask about this before hiring these people.
